For the past six years, I have worked in the NHS and voluntary sector, supporting individuals with a wide variety of issues impacting their physical and mental wellbeing. I understand from experience that accessing counselling support can feel frustrating with long waiting lists, a limited number of sessions, and no choice over your counsellor.
I started as a nutritionist, and after working with hundreds of clients, I saw firsthand the connection between food and mood. This set me off on my counselling journey, igniting my passion for understanding how our minds and bodies are interconnected. This means I can also offer support with low self-esteem and emotional eating, and how anxiety and stress affects conditions like IBS and chronic pain.
For many people, starting counselling is a daunting experience. I like to make sure you feel at ease from the start. Very simply, it begins with a conversation.
